Questions
How do I change uppercase text to lowercase?
Paste your text into the box at the top of this page and click “lower case”. Then click Copy and paste the result wherever you need it. Use “Sentence case” instead if you want normal capitalization back.
What is the shortcut to change case in Microsoft Word?
Select the text and press Shift+F3. Each press cycles through lowercase, UPPERCASE, and Capitalize Each Word. In Google Docs, use Format › Text › Capitalization. In Excel, use the LOWER, UPPER, and PROPER functions.
What is the difference between title case and sentence case?
Sentence case capitalizes only the first word of each sentence, like normal writing. Title case capitalizes the main words of a headline and leaves short words such as “of”, “and”, and “the” lowercase. See the Title Case Converter for the exact rules.
